    rev pops

    Hey all, this might sound strange but i have never actually sat in the car and revved the engine just for fun. when I did this I noticed that when I let off the accelerator there is a popping or backfire sound as the RPM's drop. is this normal? I only revved to 3 to 4K RPM and noticed it.

    I did just install an RX catch can but I never did a rev before installing to compare to.

    let me know your thoughts.

    Dan

    Re: rev pops

    Thanks for the reply

    I did a few more searches around the forum and found its something that happens with these engines, something to do with fuel mapping being a bit off on deceleration. I kinda like it so as long as its normal I wont worry.
