    Volant Intake Delay

I just installed a volant intake that I purchased from the site. There seems to be a delayed reaction from the throttle now. Is that normal. Only been on for like 30 miles so I can't really notice anything now. Any responses from knowledgeable people would help.

Wouldn't disconnecting the battery reset the system, allowing the computer to adapt to the modification? I could be way off, maybe someone else could correct me if I'm wrong.

    Re: Volant Intake Delay

I have the volant air cleaner and had no issues at all when I installed it. It ran fine with the stock tune--no codes or CEL set.

    Re: Volant Intake Delay

I had KPE install air intake and noticed same thing. I also had them program a tune a couple weeks later and never noticed it again. The CTS owners manual tells you how to rest throttle, u can try that. Dealer can also tune car to adjust for new intake. Hope this helps.
