Just a little heads up, if you decide to go with the ported TB, give a call or shoot an email first. The website said "in stock" when I ordered on 10/21, but it still hasn't even shipped. I'm sure the part will be quality, but just don't expect it in a timely manner.

    Re: VMax ported TB

The tests have been done bone stock, no tune, no bolt ons. A tune should result in even more.

The VMax tb's are NOT in stock.....we are running 2-3 weeks behind trying to meet demand. We are bringing in a CNC machine so we can up production and not be reliant on the current machine shop.

Our appologies for the waits....were doing them as quick as possible.

I installed the TB and it is great! I will do the isolater on a warmer weekend. Is there good reason to install a TB spacer? If so, what brand and type? I know nothing about these products but have heard good things.

    Re: VMax ported TB

We have tested every TB spacer we have seen on the market and can show NO gains...waste of $. We were going to manufature them but all testing of existing ones and our prototypes showed a max gain of less than 2 rwhp and that is in the margin of error so if we cant document actual gains (we dont play the "up to xxx hp!!!" games) we scrap the product and dont release.

CAI & a tune are the next steps. The tune will optimize the mods.

Any word on when they might ship? Sorry to sound impatient, but its been over a month since I placed my order.

Still wondering when I can order the TB for the LY7. And do you guys have the iceolator in stock? I want to order, but if it's on back order I will wait until you guys get caught up, because once I order something, I HATE waiting for it.

What tune do you recommend, how much does it cost, do you sell it and how is it implemented (plug and play or will it require a tech)? I have the TB, CAI, Iceolator and catch can. Also, will an aftermarket exhaust affect performance (hp, torque) enough to justify cost?

    Re: VMax ported TB

LLT's should ship mid week, LFX's some shipped last week as well as a few LS3's.

LY7 is in the works......expect 3-6 months for each new application and were moving the CNC machine in here the next few weeks so production & new releases should improve.

I know this is an old thread but do you have the LY7 released yet? I want this for my 07 SRX.

All these engine codes (LY7, LLT) and I don't know what I have. I am very interested in this. Please tell me what engine I have and if this is available for it? I have a 2009 CTS AWD 3.6 NON-DI engine.

    Re: VMax ported TB

    Non DI is the LY7.

We are probably within 30 days of releasing the LY7 version. Do a search here and see the results from our first dyno testing.
