You threw me a curve with the "cts2 lock pick" but if you are talking about the CTS lockpick for 2008-2012 CTS the Coastal Tech site has this:

    http://www.coastaletech.com/media/CT...ctions.doc.pdf

Shows about everything one could need.

    Re: Installing lock pick

Thanks, I will do a search for someone who has installed one. I need to know what interior parts that need to be removed to access the wires. I know I will need the removal tool from harbor freight, but would need any tips on safely removing whatever panels that will provide access. My goal is to plug and play and reinstall panels as soon as my unit is received.

    ----------

I apologize, the schematics you sent are right on. Thanks again for your help. I will start on prep before my unit arrives. Have to stop to secure my wireless network. Thanks again.

Some of your comments above make me wonder if you scrolled down in the document from Coastal Tech. It contains more then the diagram on the first page.

Yes, the 10 page doc was full of answers!

It may also have the solution to having a front camera available for parking with the low front lip!!! I'm going to do some more reading on this option!

What about installing a DashCam? I won't be doing this, but it sounds neat

Best option may be the GOPRO camera.

AH! The front camera is one of my reasons for considering the Lockpick. I have been in communications with them concerning a quick way (1 or 2 button pushes) to turn on the front camera (currently requires 9 button pushes) when pulling into a parking space. They indicated it may be possible and said you must first have the OEM rear camera installed. I have installed the OEM camera and wiring to the front but not yet connected it to the radio. Once I have that done and have the dealer option it I will get the Lockpick.
