adding back in factory options (keyless ignition, ventilated seats, nav screen ect)

i'm wondering if it's possible to actually add back missing features on a car piecemeal, such as the ventilated seats (replace the seat, change the climate button+screen on the console, reprogram at dealer)
or the keyless ignition (replace steering column, which probably has the keyfob detector in it, reprogram at dealer)
possibly even nav screen (change out center deck and reprogram at dealer)

heck, is the reprogramming even necessary for stuff like the seats? wouldn't it use almost the exact same power supply without any computery bits in between?

well, just called a dealer and they claim they dont do anything like that out of legal concerns. would an indie shop have the same tools and be more reasonable?

IMO the problem for any shop will be in the differences between the body wiring harnesses and fuse panels of cars that came with the option and cars that didn't. For instance, my base model has half the rear fuse panel that a premium model has, and I see no plug available to add a power passenger seat.
