    hah, just got back an email from the autobody place, they're saying it would be more like a 6-7k repair. just my luck i suppose...
    also i douvt i could talk the price down, the guy i contacted barely spoke english and they're in the business of selling salvage cars...however i very much doubt they bought it for anywhere near 11 grand
