Low speed front end bind or skip

    2010 AWD

So I have owned this car for a few days and I have noticed that at slow speeds like pulling into a parking spot the front tires start to cog or skip like the diff is binding and it feels like the tires are sliding, if the diff were to lock up this would happen but all other times it is fine. I really like this car so far.

I did some searching but I don't know what to search for, any search word tips would be great.

    Welcome to the forum!

Unfortunately I believe what you are feeling is normal for our AWD systems. If your car is still under warranty, you could go to the dealer, but I think they will say it's normal.

Glad you are liking your CTS, love mine!

Good luck, you just awakened a thread that hasn't been active for over a year!

You might also want to update your profile to include your CTS so people take you serious (otherwise they will think you are just on the wrong forum).

Except that they use a different AWD system!

    Enjoy your wagon!

    Hello conedoctor,

Congratulations on your new vehicle purchase! If you would like me to check to see if you are still in warranty like Marv has suggested and would like a dealership to look into this situation, please feel free to message me privately and I can look into the situation for you. Thank you very much for your time.

It has 130KM on it so I think that ship sailed, I have it booked in for one of my racing buddies to have a look at when we do the exhaust but I have a feeling it may just be how it is.
