"Mud Flaps" The name alone is ugly. But then I live in Houston.

I hope that you're kidding - mud flaps went "out" 20 years ago because they're so ugly. Yes, "back then" I did put them on some of my vehicles. CTS fenders flare around the wheels to do the same job that mud flaps used to do.

Agreed, but not as well. I live in CO and between sand on the roads in winter, the mud flaps on my '10 wagon do a great job of keeping the car much cleaner!

Could be the stigmatism attached to "Mud Flap". Why not "Splashguards"?

Re: Any '13 Coupe w/Mud Flaps?

I put "Mud Flaps" on my Vette and it was one of the best investments made. The front of my rear quarter panels were taking a beating from all the debri that was being kicked up by the front tires. Apsis, a company based out of Long Island started making these molded mud flaps for the front of a wide bodied vette, GM only had them for the standard vette. Maybe if there is enough interest they can produce flaps for us. PS. NOT CHEAP

I had mud flaps on my 93 Ranger. Great on road and in the summer on gravel roads. In the winter or in deep mud they did a lot of damage as they tended to get get caught in ice or mud and ripoff bending the fenders in the process. I wouldn't run them if you get deep snow in the winter. I have already ripped off the front plastic underbody plate on the CTS in deep snow, but fortunately it didn't cause any other damage.
