Change Engine Oil
I change my own oil. After every oil change, except my last one, I reset my oil life indicator. I forgot last time, and now my idiot light has come on. I have followed directions to reset my indicator but it hasn't reset. Turn ignition to "on/run" without actually turning on the engine. Press accelerator to the floor three times within 5 seconds (I definitely know how to press the accelerator to the floor). After that it doesn't reset. What am i doing wrong? Gotta be something simple. Please, someone give my that "Doh" moment!

Scroll to oil life in the driver information screen and hold down the check mark button till it resets. I believe that's how I did it.

Re: Change Engine Oil
That worked!! Many thanks, Caddyman1154.
Now, why doesn't Cadillac say that in their manual? This is way simpler than what they state in the 2010 Owner's Manual.
