    Negative terminal on coupe

I'm trying to find the negative terminal on my 2012 3.6 coupe for jump starting. The positive is where the manual shows it but where the manual shows the negative theres no ground. The manual shows a place on the passenger side about 12" back from the positive with a wire connected to it. On my car in that location there are two approximately 1/4" by 1 1/4" threaded studs that are painted (not a good ground) with nothing attached to them and what looks like a 1/4" threaded female connection with nothing in it. There's also the head of what looks like a 1/2'' bolt unpainted. I don't have to jump my car now but I just happened to be looking for the way to jump it. Anyone have any info? Thanks in advance.

As for a negative ground; I have always just attached the jumper cable to the block.

Or a bolt in the engine compartment. I believe there are a couple near the positive terminal.
