Moab to Vegas and back. 23-25 . AWD CTS. Had a late model Ford sedan (one with the grill like the Astons) keeping up for many sections but lost him in the curves. Did keep it I fifth and sixth for the most part to keep the mileage up. Sure cant complain. Get 11-12 mpg with my Chevy in 2wd on the same trip and its much slower. I usually keep it around the speed limit, 80 on I-15' 75 on I-70.
About right. Although I am dissapointed in that it is the first GM car that isn't a truck that EXCEEDED the rate mpg, I am impressed when by the fact that it makes more power then it's compeititors with a V6 DOHC at that, is a pig in terms of weight and has a terrible CD. Yet drives like it's 300lbs lighter then it really is and still gets the mileage and spoils you with so much luxury.
I recently took a 350+ mile round trip in my 09 AWD driving almost entirely at 70 with the cruise set and I was right in the same range. My typical commute is combined city/highway with an average speed of around 45MPH and I usually get around 19MPG.
2010 AWD wagon, 3.0L had cruise control set for most of the way at 75-78 mph averaged 26.7 mpg from Philly to Greenville SC - lots of mountains. Return trip same route - same speed returned 26.5 mpg. Sunroof open so a bit more drag. I have found that I get several more mpg using premium fuel.
