climate control & radio control go blank

My 2008 CTS climate control as well as the radio controls will sometimes not illuminate after starting the engine. The climate control defaults to the AC on with the lowest fan setting. the temp displays are blank and I can not adjust anything including the radio also OnStar will not work at this time either. Shutting the car off and restarting usually corrects the issue. I have taken the car to the dealer for this issue once before and they said they replaced the entire fuse block. That was about six months ago. Now it's starting to act up again. Is this an isolated case or is it a common problem?

I have not heard about this being a common problem. I would camp on your dealer's doorstep.

Had it happen twice in two months with the radio only but that was last year, has not done it since. Take it back to the dealer! If its a known issue, they have to fix it at no charge because its wasnt fixed properly the first time.
