    Horn on lock problem

Our 09 CTS was set to have the door lock with the fob and not sound the horn. My wife now claims that the horn is now sounding when pushing the fob lock button but not all the time. [naturally when I am there] . Is this possible and if so what could be causing it?

Does it sound the horn on a second press? Maybe she is hitting it twice without realizing it?

One of my cars would beep if not all the doors were shut. I second rkschmidts response, check the fob, button could be sticking and might not notice. At least it doesn't sound like a serious problem

    Re: Horn on lock problem

I thought that there was a setting to either have the horn sound or not during the lock/unlock process. Pressing the button twice is standard procedure as the second press just unlocks the other 3 doors. I thought this might have more to do with a setting in the car as opposed to a FOB malfunction.
