    Backup Sensor Question?

Quick Sensor question. It seems my backup sensor is fine sensing something like a wall or another car, but doesn't pick up a curb or a parking divider. Is that normal?

sensors are bumper level (the little circles in your bumper are the sensors) so I'm pretty sure anything below the bumper won't get picked up, like a curb.

    Re: Backup Sensor Question?

Mine will pick up a curb initially at about 4 ft. or so but then as you back up more the sensor doesn't "see" it and the signal stops rather than telling you it is closer to the curb.

    Re: Backup Sensor Question?

According to the owners manual objects have to be 10" high for the back up sensors to properly detect them.
