Repeat the steps to start the car after the car is already running. It will extend it another 10 minutes. I think you can only extend it once.

You know this just shuts the car off, right? There is no extending it, at least not on my '11 coupe.

You can extend it. I will look in the manual when I'm home and will post the page

    ----------

Section 2-14 of the owner's manual.

    Extending Engine Run Time

To extend the engine run time by 10 minutes, repeat steps 1 and 2 while the engine is still running. The engine run time can only be extended if it is the first remote start since the vehicle has been driven. Remote Start can be extended one time.

If the remote start procedure is used again before the first 10 minute time frame has ended, the first 10 minutes will immediately expire and the second 10-minute time frame will start.

To shut off the remote start you simply press the circular arrow button (without pressing the lock button first).

I must have not slept enough last night or maybe just confused.... So if I do the sequence again within the first 10 minutes does it add 10 minutes to the time left or does it just start a new 10 minute cycle?

    Thanks again!

    Starts a new 10 minutes.

So if you are 5 minutes in and do the sequence again, you'll have 15 minutes.
