    Re: Trunk Leak Problem

It took three times to fix my trunk leak. After the brake light and license plate grommets were sealed/replaced, the final fix was the Cadillac emblem. Once they fixed that leak my trunk has not leaked.

What happens when the car is out of b2b warranty?
Not to be rude but the dealer will tell you to shove it if you expect them to work with you. (not literally but close because it wasn't a recall) I was lucky to have the issue come up a year before my btb ran out BUT the third time was the charm for me similar to what Chris posted. (they sealed the led brake light and behind the license plate before replacing both moonroof panels/cleaning the drain tubes) Wouldn't have wanted to see those invoices as I had them replace ALL carpeting in the trunk too...

Being out of "real" warranty myself, I'd start with the high mounted brake light and would then reseal the license plate.
