Rudeboi I also get hours of radio resetting itself and getting no sound... After a lot of investigating it seems as though it is a faulty windows program that cadillac uses....and / or cheap amp conectors. Try putting radio on and touch/move the conectors on amp.

Have you check the dealer? Also is it the connector on the speaker that is loose or the ones on the amp?

The conectors on the amp in the trunk....when I touch them sound goes off and on....others have had sound issues with these cheap conectors.
Remember or know where I can get another set?

I think I can get you the part numbers for those connectors. That would have to wait until I leave work. Then you can call the dealer and ask if they have those parts.

    Hi

There are 4 connectors that connect to the amp. The x1 would be the first one facing the light which have the power wire.
    Amp x1 6098-4798 (8pins)
    Amp X2 6098-4611 (16 pins)
    Amp x3 7283-9076-30 (16pins)
    Amp x4 7283-9078-80 (16pins)

Sorry to pirate your thread but I would love to buy a used Instrument panel filler that is taken out when the nav unit is used. Anyone have one? Thanks Gene
