I thought USB only worked on the NAV or HDD radios, can it be added to the base Bose system?

    ----------

Can the USB be added to the base stereo that doesn't have NAV or HDD?

It doesn't have to be the nav system. Usb also comes without the nav system, but you do have to the hdd radio. The cts comes with i think 3 different radios, nav with hdd, hdd no nav and the regular radio without hdd.

Does anyone know of a dealership in the Cleveland/Akron area that is good with the Tech2 that can reprogram my radio? Ive done a swap from the base radio to the HDD radio but my local caddy dealership was no help unlocking it.
    Thanks!

That's not it... that connects your iDevice to the cars USB harness.
Here's a link for it on Amazon with pic...

I ordered this and it plugged right in to the back of the radio. I guess the port is called 'mini usb A'.

send it in to global auto tech through fleabay thats what the majority of us did as the stealership doesnt help much for anything around here either

Re: Successful navigation swap into a non Nav CTS

Have anyone finish swapping their navigation into a non Nav CTS?? I have a 08 Cadillac Cts4 with non nav and i want to know where i can get the parts. I have tried ebay, amazon, and many salvage yards but no one seem to have navigation system for this car available. Do i need to try CTS-V? Will it fit into my 08 model? any help is greatly appreciated.
