    Leather/Dash Care?

Sorry if this has been covered, are there any products I can get at like Autozone or something without buying online that anyone recommends to protect the leather/dash/side panels? My 08 is starting to get glimmers of wear in places and I want to nip this in the butt now.

I use a damp rag with warm water - For dirty areas Griots cleaner - Other stuff might make the leather shiney

Can't help you with Autozone...but I use Aerospace 303 Vinyl Cleaner & Aerospace 303 Protectant on the vinyl, Zaino Z-9 & Z-10 on the leather, and Plexus for the plastic dash pieces.

I would look for vinyl or plastic conditioner from mothers. I wouldn't use armor all or any sort leather cleaner from meguiars or mothers unless it was on a beater I didn't plan on keeping, mostly because they smell horrible and makes everything slippery and shiny. I have used Lexol on coated leather in the past with some sucess as well, but it's technically made for raw hide as well.

my point here is, you have coated leather (ie raw hide protected by a clear vinly top) so that's why you need a plastic conditioner rather than a raw hide conditioner-- like lexol.

wear spots are an inevitability really. Mine has 1-2 pin spots on the passenger side already with 6K miles.

2nd the 303 Aerospace Protectant recommendation. Use it on all interior vinyl, vinyl-coated, and leather surfaces - steering wheel wrap, shift boot, dashboard, console, door panels, and seats. 303 products are available online; and locally at many aviation, boating, hunting, fishing, camping, and swimming pool supply stores.
