2010 CTS 3.6L, want to install pop up LCD, radio, any advise?

I'm new to this forum and I have a question, I hope someone can help me out here.

    I bought a 2010 Cadillac CTS 3.6L 2 weeks ago.
I have the upgraded sound system with the 10 Bose speakers and hard drive.
I don't have the pop up LCD with navigation.

I was hoping someone could tell me what would be the best radio to put in my CTS with a pop up LCD and navigation.

Should I try to find a stock unit or is there an aftermarket unit that will fit and do a better job?

Any advise or comments would be appreciated.

    - Justin

Also interested in this for my 2008 DI, I have the 40 gig HD and it came with every option but wood trim and the nav/pop up screen. I'd really like to have it and am interested to know what the options for this are.

Found 1 link do far on this subject:

Not very reassuring. Looks like I'll be buying an OEM LCD, DVD, nav unit.

I bet it will be expensive and potentially not doable if the wiring harnesses vary by factory installed options.

Did you ever get an answer on how to do this? I would like to do this on my 2011 CTS Performace.

there is a replacement nav for this car, i checked it out all over the place, it is called Intraphex, google it up and you will find it, called a lot of places, and changed my mind, anywhere from $2300 to $4000 to buy and have it installed. Didn t think i needed it that bad.

Definitely not worth the expense or the effort.

I agree. Unfortunately today's cars electronics is "fully integrated" and any upgrades, as in good old days, are not easy and usually very expensive. Not worth the effort and money.

This is why I always buy cars with the equipment I need/want.

As for GPS – Garmin is my choice. Their latest model is much better than the Caddy one. But it is only for navigation…
