you should be able to go to your local dealer and ask to purchase those terminals

there are no prices published for those parts and those numbers are not GM part numbers
(we don't even stock the trays in our parts dept - the trays are in the service/tech library)
they might just give you one or two or they might want $10 each ... it's really up to their discretion

if you think they're not being fair then call the next closest dealer and see if they'll 'play ball'

How long does it take to turn on the option like 10min. I Called one caddi dealer and after i had to tell /argue with them cause "he knows more than I do" that its possible he said it takes about a hour and Thats a Minuium of $120! Plus if it locks up that might take longer.... I think im going to try to swing by the chevy dealer which arent a bunch of a-holes and see if i can get someone to run out side for a minute

Its not the tech II that's used for the programming.

As for the remote start.....no clue there.

    ----------

To program the cam, its done through the TIS2WEB

Re: Ideas about the Rear-View Camera for 2008-2010 CTSs

So I am going to attempt this mod but have a question to put out there. I am trying to order the trunk molding with the camera (factory 2011 CTS sedan), but am having a problem with a part number. Does anyone have the part number for the camera/trunk molding? I tried GMPartsDirect but get nowhere with them without a VIN (my car is an 09 CTS). Any help would be greatly appreciated...thank you in advance!

When they updated your radio, did they use a MDI or a Tech2 with TIS2Web?

dsteinmann, I live in St Charles and have a Tech 2 and CANdi module, and Short term Access to TIS2Web is $55. If a Tech2 can be used to program the 08's, I'd be willing to help you out if you haven't found a dealer to help you.

Bad news. I just got out my Tech 2 and checked the SPS options, and even though I have almost the latest version, 31.009, it only goes up to 2007 for SPS, but up to 2012 for Diagnostics. I thought the 2010 Camaro was the first vehicle that required the MDI to program, but apparently not, unless I'm missing something. Maybe the Tech 2 can program the 08 CTS in Pass-Through mode only. Guess if/when I get a CTS, I'll have to get a MDI as well.

Edit: Good news! I just spoke to a friend and he told me that after 2007, they switched to pass-through only, but the Tech2 will still work for programming the 08 CTS. The MDI is required for the 2010 Camaro because it added a few data busses that the CANdi module doesn't have.
