Honeycomb grill - Which one? (pic inside)

Has GM ever sold a grill package for the CTS?

I was browsing on autotrader.com and found about 3 CTS's in the area with this grill which made me wonder if this was an option from Cadillac. Below is a pic from one of the listings. It looks nice. Can anyone tell me which one this is and what is the best one to go for?

There was no option for that grill because it is a aftermarket grill probably made by E&G Classics.

It is in fact an E&G grille. I have it. The dealer called it chrome heavy mesh grille. There are a couple threads on E&G grilles in this section. One was started by Disco_Monster & one by clownin72 if you want to read more

Some dealers offer it some don't but it is not through GM and it will cost about 1.5 times what you would pay if you had it done outside.

The Cadillac dealership in my area (Philly subs) wanted to send me to their installers...Pennsauken NJ!!! SMH!!! My tint people sent to a local body shop...$200 installed in 4 hrs. (they had to remove the front end). Actually, without the lower OEM grille, which pulled the front bumper down), the car steers better. (IMO) She seems lighter on her feet.

Yea, I read the installation insturctions on their website and it's not a direct fit and requires drilling. I am rethinking now.

Had the E&G fine mesh on the G8..... Looked great and added extra protection from stones/rocks hitting the radiator and evaporator coils..... Will be getting same for the CTS..... Well worth it... I try to go for appearance and function.... As far as the drilling, that is why I let a pro install it.... Well worth it from the installation and less aggravating.

That would not be a E&G- they are <$700 for the grille. Do you have a brand name? Thanks Gene

    He meant duct

Haven't you ever had autocorrect change the meaning of something you typed?

Like when you type: Thank you, I'll search the forums

And autocorrect changes it to: Get lost you sanctimonious jerk! Lot of help you are telling me to search. It's like my parents telling me to go look it up in the dictionary! Why couldn't you just post the link?

    I hate when that happens.
