    Radio Control Panel Display Swap

Does anyone know if it's possible/functional to swap the 2008-2010 display (non-nav) for the 2011-2013 display (also non-nav)? I've seen images of the start-up screen with the Cadillac symbol and the more modern look of the color LCD, which would be much preferred to my blue and white display. Found a screen on eBay for cheap and I don't feel like the dis-assembly would be too difficult...

I've never seen a non navi CTS load up with the cadillac emblem. Mine is a non navi CTS 2012. I think it's just the Navigation option.

Re: Radio Control Panel Display Swap

Are you asking if the screen can be installed and made to function as a radio but not a navigation? I've seen the retrofit for the Non Nav to Nav and it looks like a pain. I'm also curious if the actual screen and radio can be installed and used without the navigation function. Anyone know if thats possible?

Yeah, I could care less if it has navi as my phone's more accurate and reliable anyways. I really just like the load up cadillac symbol and the color-rich display. Would love to have that done but what I've been reading about all the reprogramming that's necessary when changing these kind of parts is a little ridiculous.

my 2012 non nav has the blue and white too.. You must be thinking of nav

EDIT: Its about 300$ to swap your control panel by the way, you have to give the dealer your old one to get a new one

@tkanack, you're likely seeing photos of the Nav screen when it's in it's down position. The top 1/4 of the LCD stays lit and shows either the Cadillac logo or the radio info (in color) when recessed. There is no color option for the non-nav LCD.
