What is pep boys hourly labor rate? My dealer charges 110 per hour and I have worked out a deal with them where I do not pay a large markup on parts. Pep boys labor is probably 100. I also have that same deal with my local Aamco. I supply parts and just pay for labor. I have had bad experiences with my local pep boys in the past. So if I were you, I would buy the shocks yourself( go to acdelcos website, get the part number, then buy off amazon) then take them to you're local mechanic and just pay them labor.

Not no...but hell NO! I agree with 'arw1510'. Get your parts and take them to your local shop that has a much lower turnover rate in mechanics and higher professional certification levels than PepBoys-one-size-fits-all stores.

Pep boys would be about the last place I would trust for anything but an oil change (and then I would worry). If you want a 20 year old kid working on your car, they are the place to go! Good Luck, Marv
