Where are the pictures of your car with 19X10-40 on the front?

    Explain.

He forgot the CTS doesn't have replaceable bearings and he has inside info that they will stop selling hubs.

I guess he wants me to go out and pick up a few.

Or, maybe it was just his way of making a point. Either way there are always dissenter and people who thing they are the only ones who can see the obvious. I found his post very condescending.

So be ready for a lesson on suspension geometry and the evils of suspension modifications.

    Re: Widened 19X9 CTS-V Wheels

I have bigger tires on my talon than many have on their V's, I like to learn and listen so I will and not get into a fight on a part of the forum I don't know, if I want to get in a fight I can do that on the SRX forum

Wider wheels will not throw alignment out, curbs yes but not big wheels IMO.

The offset maybe but how far did you move the load center from stock?

What a concept! I get into fights on all the forums I visit.

The offset went from 56mm to 65mm (11mm). But I agree that due to the increase in backspace, about 1.1 inches, if I run over something on the inside of the tire there will be more loading on the hub. But how much could that be?
