Search a little! People have wrapped them in everything, I remember a big long thread with a write up when someone wrapped the in the carbon fiber vinyl, and there are company's that do it in real carbon fiber also.
No attitude, just don't appreciate how some ppl assume that someone else didn't use the search function. Perhaps instead of wasting you time telling us to do a search, how about providing your search results with links, or at least tell us what keywords you used? You do know not everyone uses the same keyword. For example, I did a search for "vinyl wrap" in the CTS 2nd gen forum and it didn't return the results I am looking for.
Geez guys lighten up. Have you not heard of the word sarcasm? What you 3 belong to the Search Nazi club or something? I thought the point of forums is to share knowledge. If I can help someone I will, otherwise I just keep my mouth shut. Telling someone to use the search function serves no purpose, in fact, it will dissuade them from future post in a pretty much dead forum. As a matter of fact I prefer more postings to keep the action going.
Sarcasm is very difficult to discern in the written word. Also, who do you think you are to refer to anyone on this forum or elsewhere as a Nazi. To me that's just another "N" word. I'll be damned if I ever try to help you or even read any of your posts.
I think the moderator needs to start screening you.

Pry shifter boot down w/ a small flathead screwdriver. It will snap down. This will expose a #15 torx head (star) set screw. Remove it and lift the shifter knob off. The shifter can be separated using a flathead screwdriver.
The leather on mine was pretty beat up so I went ahead and removed it. Nice piano black under that, started to leave it like that.
I just cut the film about an 1/4" larger than the flat surface of the shifter. Heated it up pretty good with a hair dryer then started at the bottom and worked my way up from the middle to the outer edges. Applied more heat when needed to turn the corners down. Peel up and rework if you get any bad creases / bubbles. It went pretty smooth with no major issues. This was my first time applying 3M film and might have just have to do some more.
Just ordered enough 3m Di-Noc matte black carbon fiber vinyl to cover all of the cheap-a$$ looking "carbon fiber" trim inside the car. 36" x 48" sheet for $60 sure beats the cost of real CF.
Will post up some pics when it's done.
Of course it is tempting to try to shortcut this job and just do some of it it in place. I'm going to remove everything first and do it right the first time.
The dash pieces will just pry off pretty easily using a cheap nylon trim removal tool.
Got everything done except the door panel trim pieces. Pulled the door panel but the crappy carbon fiber trim pieces don't have any mounting studs / nuts like shown in the post referenced above.
It all seems to be "welded" together with those black melted plastic rivets and won't freaking budge. I can't imagine trying to do these pieces while still on the door....
How could these ever be replaced other than a whole new door skin??? :hmm:
Only option seems to be to cut / grind the "rivet" heads off and then re-attach the trim pieces with heavy duty double sided tape or hot glue? Not liking that at all :bonkers:
***EDIT*** Only the driver's door was like that (1st one I pulled) the other 3 door had the stud / nut holding the trim on :wtf:
Pictures don't do this justice IMO, looks much better in person
