looks great. What were the steps involved in removing the grille to work on it?

    Re: plasti dip grille

You dont have to remove the grill to plasti dip. Over spray is encouraged and you peel it off after to make a perfect line

975738_10151465553467898_1166479381_n.jpg Did mine too, but ran it from the top grill to the bottom made it a uniform black. I personally like this alot better than stock, especially that ugly grey plastic that our grills are normally...

Tsirpas, how does the grille hold up in terms of chips or damage from rocks etc?

I did mine with black paint. Numerous coats of both paint and clear and there's chips all over it. Already re did it once already. I would assume that eventually you'll have the same problem with the plasti dip.

Yea pretty much, the plasti-dip won't last forever and sometimes it can peel. This is the second time I've done it, but the best part is it peels off leaving nothing behind so it doesn't really matter how many times you re-do it!

We took a chance and went through the spray wash here in town I really thought it would destroy it but the grille came out w/o a scratch...I will redo it once it gets tattered.
