    New Rims and Tires

I have a 08 cts and am looking to get some new rims and tires. My friend told me to get 18's because if I got 20's I would need to get really low profile tires which would make the ride not smooth. Any advise??

I would go drive a CTS with 20" low profile tires and see if you like the ride. Yes it will feel every defect in the road. Some don't mind the ride, maybe you will. That's why YOU need to decide if they're OK for YOU. Me, they would never be OK.

Good luck and let us know the outcome!

The very small amount of ride you lose will more then trump the amount you will feel like you wasted your money when you hate the way 18s look.... You'll be used to the ride in a week, and its so minimal anyway

What is the offset and width of your rims? I want to run 245/40s on all 4 corners (awd) but wasnt sure what size and spec wheel I would need.
    Thanks for the help!
