Black CTS Grille ( painted )

For those of you who have painted the Grille black, Do you have to remove it ? or can it be professionaly painted on the car ? looks easy to paint but difficult to mask. From the shops ive been they dont want to paint my grille on the car, everyone wants to remove it. I really dont want to disasseble the front bumper and all that stuff. im afraid it will rattle in a couple months .

    thanx

It will make life easier to remove the bumper. It's very easy and there is no need to worry about rattle as long as all of the clips are put back. Here's the diy http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...8-cts-how.html

You're absolutely correct. I just spray painted my grill today and spent over an hour masking for just two minutes of spraying. (also put cardboard behind the grill) It would have been much easier to pop the bumper off to do it. Because I did it this way, I have a minor running issue on the one side and will have to sand it and do it over. Otherwise I'm glad I didn't plasti dip it because I wanted a different texture, there are other parts for that stuff
