Since no one can tell me if the V bbk will fit the non-V I am thinking of painting the calipers. Can someone post closeup pics of the front and back?

Why dont they look good? Is the paint chipping off? Please take pics of them when you dismount the wheels and prior to putting on the covers thanks

they didnt chip but got really dirty and some rust spots. Mind you we have winter here with slop, and salt on the roads, and when i went to clean them they didnt come back to nice state like when i first painted them.

Here are some pictures of the night I got my wheels. Car and tires were dirty. Along with the car. I need to take better pictures.

I forgot to add that I painted the calipers last summer.

On your 2nd pic, it looks like you painted the pads too? When I looked at videos on youtube most ppl taped off that area. What product did you use?

I think it's fixed now. Hopefully it works for you. Again, these were taken with my iPhone. I need to get some nicer pictures with our DSLR.

I just went to an auto parts store (O'Reilly's) and bought specific "brake caliper" paint. I will check the brand name when I get home.

I think any engine (or brake paint) will work. The key is it has to be heat resistant.

I did my son's car last May and they still look great. I didn't take the calipers off. I masked off everything. I also did at least three coats on each caliper

i sprayed mine all a metallic silver color about 8 months ago, i used heat resistant metallic silver. got it from lowes. it was like $5 a can. nothing has chipped or melted. i've had to clean them to keep the brake dust from collecting though
