Ok. After installing these I am not as happy as I thought I would be. First of all. After doing a more in depth exam of the lights, the inside is pretty cheap. Attachment 107303
That is where the bulb goes. I can't even install my hid kit because of the poor design. Gonna have to take it to a shop to customize it. Secondly, the LEDs ARE NOT THE DRLs!! Which is what I was afraid of. They are the driving lights. The low wattage low beam is still the DRL. has anyone figured out which pin is the drl? Maybe I can switch them and somehow make it work. I mean they look cool. Except for the garbage yellow light coming from the headlight. Ugh. I'm used to my hid

It still looks better than factory but thanx for giving the world an update. If an HID kit won't fit maybe a higher quality bulb would give it a good look, like the silverstar ZXE.

I agree...a better silverstar bulb would help.

Thanks for the update...a daytime pic outside when you're finished would be nice to see.

Do the LEDs just come on with the high beams?

You cant use your HIDS as that looks like a H1 or H3 bulb socket.

Buy the right bulb and you can install HIDS.

Thanks for posting those pics! Nice look! So it appears the LEDs stay on no matter what!? I guess I'm just not understanding when they turn on and off.

As everyone else, I appreciate the pics and feedback. I have a completely blacked out coupe and wanting to finish the transformation with the headlights. Can you take a front side pic in the daylight with lights off, so I can get a better idea of the look? 1 - 2 from a few more feet back?

    Again appreciate your help.

As soon as it stops raining I will. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make the LEDs the Drls?

And there is condensation inside the headlight from the rain. I'm not liking these too much right now

That sucks! I wonder if baking them and re-doing the silicone would be worth it? At $300 they're still way cheaper to experiment with than an oem set.
