I recently installed LED lights in the bottom of my doors (puddle lights/courtesy lights) whatever you may know them as. Here is my problem...with the factory bulbs in, whenever the door (any of the 4) were open, that light would stay on. Now when I have the LED in and open the door, the light does not stay on. It simply flashes for a second until I shut and open the door again, then it stays on (sometimes, but sometimes stills doesn't light up). This is only happening with the 2 front doors. Both rear doors work fine and stay lit when the doors are open. Why would this be happening? I have no idea.

Have your tried switching the back LEDs into the front doors. To rule out that it is a problem with the led it self?

Yes I have. I tried multiple LEDs and they all acted the same way.

Re: LED light problem
On the bottom side of the led you will see two wire type contacts. Try spreading them just a tiny bit from the bulb base and re-install them. It just may be the wedge bulbs aren't making contact quite enough. I guess you already know that the leds can only be inserted one way.
