    3.6L without plastic engine shroud

    I like the shroud, but the engine looks OK without the shroud. I also wonder if there are others who have made changes to the engine looks by changing any parts .. i.e.. chrome or polished aluminum, or added color

    We polish or paint the IM for appearance and the shroud just traps heat in. Put the Iceolator on that and get 20 rwhp & 25 plus rwtq with no tune.

    I keep mine off as well. Picked that up from the Acura community before my Caddy. For something you never see, it doesn't really matter if you don't have it on there...and like Tracy said it definitely keeps the heat in.

    One thing it will help with is noise, but I believe it isn't any great amount.
