LED headlights inside a projector housing.

Has anyone tried this or thought of doing this? If I took an H11 LED And put it in the projector housing of a non hid assembly, would it give enough light? My guess is no, but I'd like opinions of people more knowledgable than myself.

I still have no clue why anyone would use LEDs as a headlight. But I realize that isnt your question. Personally, I couldn't imagine LEDs throwing much light onto the road. Why not go with SilverStar Ultras if youre not going with HID?

I actually have 12000k 55w hids that look amazing. And it's more than $5 for an LED that would fit the connector. Plus all the time it takes to drop my bumper, remove the headlight assembly, and all that crap. I was just wondering that's all.

I don't think there is LED for headlight. Of course there is LED headlight for Lexus or other brands however for the aftermarket side, you wont find a good one.

Good way to use the LED for headlight is like this,

Yes, but how much output do they produce?

Audi has some butt-kicking L.E.D. headlights.

I've got an email in to them about pricing. You can either buy the parts and DIY, have someone else do it or send the headlight to them. Waiting to hear back on pricing of sending them in

FYI the Escalade Platinum uses LEDs for low beams and high beams. It was the first production car to ever do so. That being said I'm sure Caddy is using much better than eBay grade LEDs.
