Looks good! Did you take them off the car, or leave them on when you sprayed them?

Thanks. Took them off one corner at a time. Cleaned/waxed the barrels and prepped them well. I also detailed the suspension and wheel wells since the car is a year old with 10k on it - didn't take much with mostly fair weather miles here in SoFlo.

I bet that was an ass whip. I did mine on the car. I did the whole tape and mask think with my bimmer, was nor fun at all, by wheel two I was ready to tap out. Good job though. I masked off the brakes with grocery bags. It was funny when I drove and all the dip was peeling off the tires.

Yes, it was. Took my good old time and spent about six hours on them...crazy.

The product you use is called "plastidip". Therefore the term "dipping".

Pdabs is right. The "plastidip" is "rubberized" spray paint. I completely changed the look and vibe of my car for about $60 and my time. This product is really great. check out - www.dipyourcar.com

Excellent guys, thanks for the clarification on that..... I think I got a lil smarter but feel dumber all at the same time.

Being that I dont feel like spending money on wheels this year, I think that may just be the answer I was looking for..... Thanks!

You should do all the chrome pieces for a totally different look. Check out operation chrome delete thread. I was in for service and not one cts looked nearly as cool as mine. I'm a little biased, but it does look a lot sportier without all that chrome IMO!

I'm thinking about it....the cammo brown about matches the interior coco trim with the cashmere. Sure does look more "sporty" with the dark accents.

Update. If you are thinking about doing this....it's now been 2 months since I dipped the wheels and they still look like the day I did them. With proper prep they are holing up great! FYI.
