    Operation CF

So, I'm just now getting around to doing some things that I've been wanting to do. Started with the grill, fog bezels next, then all the other chrome accents. Ordered my black TSW wheels today, Trifecta and other mods later this week... What do you think about Kate's new grill?

I'll take some better photos in the daylight as soon as I get a chance. It was actually a lot of work. I took the upper grill apart (two pieces, not including the chrome) and sprayed it black. The CF is vinyl. Put it all back together and used epoxy where the original thermal bonds were.

Originally, I didn't intend to do the bumper, but it needed to be repainted from where I removed the license plate bracket and filled the holes; that and I had some extra vinyl... Not sure I like it, but it's growing on me. I'm waiting until I'm certain before I do the chrome fender vents, accents around the doors and the rear.

i think the bumper ties in very well especially to cover up holes. Im glad mine didnt come with a front bracket.

    Re: Operation CF

ouch..sorry to hear. Looking to paint my grill black but leave the vertical chrome strips and vinyl out the same part of the bumper as you did. What are your thoughts? leave the chrome or black it all out? Also, I think i saw in another post that you are familiar with the v-hood swap. Will it fit without a problem on the regular coupe? Do i need to order a new chrome strip? thanks

basically want it to look this this but on my white diamond with the v hood...

    To each his own...

The V hood fits without modification (except paint). You could use your old chrome strip, but the adhesive may not stick well after you pull it off your old hood.
