The inner splash guard (the Blk liner) has 2 parts......the rest half & the front half. The front half needs to be replaced with the CTS-V splash guard. It's also a direct swap. The brake ducts also need to be replaced with the CTS-V part. The driver is 1 piece while the pass side is 2 pieces.

These parts are not needed to complete the swap, but do help tie everything in together......like it should be.

Every thing on mine is OEM......bumper, grills, fog lights, etc.

I've used aftermarket body parts on other cars before & never really liked the fit.

My CTS came with the HID package

    ----------

    Just FYI:

The HID headlights are the same for both the CTS & the "V"

But to answer ur question, yes, they are pnp. You will have to pull ur DRL relay since ur CTS uses the low beam as its DRL. That & you will not be able to make use the AFL system.....u won't have any of the wiring for it.

Don't worry, the umnitza bumper is a very good reproduction of the OEM, I have it...
It fit perfectly with the rest of the OEM equipment. The reason I think you don't like the
grill is because it looks big since there is no Cadillac emblem, but once The Cadillac emblem
is on I think you will change your mind...

So once the bumper is off, then the DRL bulb change to the LED's is just plug n play?

    ----------

Oops sorry, just saw the answer.

    ----------

SFV, so why no AFL? The bulbs are plug n play, and attached to the low beam side.

If u have a CTS with the halogen headlamp, ur car will not have the needed wiring & sensors to operate the AFL system.

Forgive my ignorance, this is the first new car i have bought for myself (at 40) and new to me -2008 awd cts. Maybe i don't know what kind of lighting i have. I think i have the HID's. I definitely have the AFL. can you help me with that? The bulbs look like the ultra white bulbs you see on newer cars and i just upgraded my fog lights to the HOEN h11 and the match perfectly.

    ----------

I pretty much, imo, got everything you could want for the price/miles, only mistake i made was with the bluetooth, my car was manufactured in 12/07 and in 4/08, they made the bluetooth standard for my package. Its got everything, including what i suspect is HID's-- 22k for the car and 35k miles (i thought it a major score)!! And still do. I love it.

If you have fog lights then your car came with hids. The two headlights look totally different. Google halogen/hid cts headlights then compare to the ones you have.
