Would 20x10 Wheels with a 40 offset fit a 2011 Coupe?
So I'm in love with the Lorenzo WL027 Wheels. The staggered 20" fitment would be 20x8.5 in the front and 20x10 in the rear. Oe of the local shops says he is hesitant that the rear wheel might rub on the inside. From what I've heard the aftermarket wheel has an offset of 40. I believe stock coupe is a 35 offset but I'm not sure. Anyone??!!
Re: Would 20x10 Wheels with a 40 offset fit a 2011 Coupe?
I also fell in love with the Lorenzo WL027 wheels and tried to fit a set on my 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe Premium Collectors edition. I also went with the staggered look with the 20x8.5 in the front and 20x10 in the rear. Now i also first went with the 40 offset in the rear but upon actually installing the rear wheels they wouldn't fit. They didn't clear the brake caliper bracket. Are you sure that you actually purchased and installed the 20x10 40 offset wheels? I only ask because like i said they wouldn't fit on my car and so i am having to go with the same wheel but in an available 20 offset. The only thing I could think of is if you actually did go with a 40 offset then you may have worn more of your brake pads than me which would cause the brake caliper assembly to stick out less and possibly have enough clearance for the wheels. Also, if I am correct I believe the only offset offerings for that wheel is an available 40, 20, and a 15 so i also question your 35 offset in the front unless you modified the wheels before installation.
I know this is an old thread, but I really need some help here guys. I typically figure things out on my own, but being insanely tired and all around frustrated in trying to find info, I turn to all of you. I have a 2011 CTS4 coupe. I plan on using 20x9 35+ in the fronts,
BUT my issue is figuring out which offset to use in the rear. I am going with 20x10 and my offset choices are 40+ and 27+. I would love to have the wheels flush with the fenders without using spacers, and I have no idea which one will rub or bring it closer to the fender lip.
