    Gorilla vs GM Wheel Locks??

Have an '08 CTS AWD with 18" premium wheels and tried a set of the Gorilla locks (71641N) that seem to be the correct application, but they seem to seat further down into the wheel than the stock lug nuts (stock nuts appear to have a bit wider seat above the cone). Although the 14mm thread and 60 degree cone seat are correct, I'm kinda worried the Gorilla locks might not provide enough "bite" on the wheel. Does anyone know if the GM wheel locks provide a better fit or if the newer "Gorilla Guard" locks (61641N) work better on the 18" wheels? Thanks.

    Ron
