17" wheels on an 09 with the sport package?

Anyone happen to know if stock 17" 09 wheels will fit on a car with the FE3 suspension and brake package? I know that 18' wheels are standard with the sport package, but I am looking to use a taller (and less expensive) 17" set of tires for winter use.

I was wondering the sort of the same. I was told that I could put 18s on my 2010 FE3 by the folks at Tire Rack. I should have the car next week and will see. I dont think you can go down to 17s. Check out TireRack.com.

The offset and bolt pattern are the main stumbling blocks. I would think both will be ok. Now the ride will be more effected and remember your speedo will be off.

I'm sure that I've read previously that others with the FE3 couldn't get the stock 17s to fit because of the size of the brake caliper with the FE3 trim. You should search this forum.
