I sanded mine down, primed it and painted it the color of my car, I'll take some pics after I wash it and post them here, it looks awesome compared with that crap from the factory.

    Cool Re: Rear Valance Mod

Here she is! The Black Dahlia with her new ground effect (VTXi kit minus the mesh grille).. I am going to get the tails tinted a bit before I install the low profile spoiler. I also powdercoated the mesh in the back valance for a subtle touch. This kit is painless to install (the rear fascia is the tough part) and gets so many looks from the import/euro drivers. I love it!

    Re: Rear Valance Mod

Thanks for the comments guys! Im glad you se it the same as I do, this grille is not something to mes with, but the body needed something more. something to make it stick out from the heard even more!

I bought it through Vogue tyre, a vendor of ours and had it painted in the body shop. Im really happy with the results, so happy that im contemplating the wheels I have ordered!! It has an dramatic effect on the sports car stance of this car. E&G has a different kit out now too, check it out... Its in a PDF file so I hope it opens correctly. The differences are that the rear valance is dual exhaust and has a larger mesh area. The front has less of a matched look to OEM and the skirts are fitted over the current skirt instead of attatching to the bottom of them.

Do you guys think I should tint the tails a bit? I was thinking one or two shaes to get a maroon look to match the cadillac crest's subtle dark red in the emblem...

    Re: Rear Valance Mod

i love the rear valance on your car. i had my taillamps on my last vehicle limo tinted. looked nice, but wouldnt do it again, or on a cadillac. i think if you kept them stock red it would look like a classy vehicle. tinting them, i personally think, would degrade the look that you curently have. Anyway, keep us posted, your car is beautiful!

If You don't mind me asking, what primer did you use ? I was using Poly_Primer, but when I was over car painters forum. the've told my that High_Build primer would be better to use.
This is what I got so far, ready to be painted

    ***Sorry for the thread jack...***

YourGMsolutions...you need to take care of your 03-07 CTS customers. Answer their emails. Supply them with the fog lens that they bought in March...or repay them, do something. Communication.

    ***Back to regularly scheduled programming***

Body colored rear bumper looks great! Nice job guys!

According to CTS owners, youve received money and havent sent product.

You most certainly DO need to respond.
