Never mind I seen your Black CTS 22 inch post. Odd that your wheels look very narrow for 22x9 w/ +59mm offset, unless they are not that spec??

The tire is a 255/30 22 on a 22x9 They are not narrow but several people have commented that from the pictures... I think they may be misleading. I think this stems from the look of a large wheel with short sidewalls. However from the direct back and the front there is plenty of foot print on the road.

Having owned Vettes forever I have become very spoiled with setting the ride height with just a wrench. I haven't had a car with coils... umm 4ever I guess. This waiting for a custom spring is a drag. I looked at the factory springs to see if I could cut a loop out but it was not a good idea.

It would seem like I could purchase 4 factory springs.. weigh each corner of the CTS and then send the springs in ( to some shop I know not where) to have them heated to reduce the ride height at the given weight.

continued posting... here is what I was thinking about

Re: 22" Wheel and Tire Question

    I am determined..

OEM part numbers for my CTS direct inject RWD with performance suspension

Front spring part number is #25807543 $79.36 ea
Rear spring part number was #15793347 changed to #25798541 $59.90

I don't know why the rear number changed but the parts guy had to call in. The OEM are shipped from Kentucky.

At this time I have located this company that does custom auto springs for limos and such on a regular basis:

    Coil Spring Specialties
    http://www.coilsprings.com/
Delivery time is 3 to 4 weeks.
I will need to send them samples of the OEM springs with my desired ride height. Ongoing...

Re: 22" Wheel and Tire Question

I have searched all the forums and I can't find this answer...
I know what the bolt pattern is and how much the offset should be. Everywhere I look says it has offsets for FWD and RWD but what do I buy if my CTS is AWD. Will either work or will I have to get two Front and two Rear? I don't understand this one.

    Thanks
