Re: Corvette SS lives.....link

Is it just me, or is the intercooler sitting above the blower...and the blower is sitting nestled down by the valve train (or in the V of the block)?

Re: Corvette SS lives.....link

I've seen the subaru with the intercooler on top as well...
it doesnt take much to stuff a FMIC and reroute some piping

I wonder which will be lighter the SS (w/ a rumomred even more CF than the Z06) or the Viper. (that was a rhetorical question).

HP numbers make you feel like you've got larger balls, it doesnt always win the race. Everyone always screams ... well whats the hp on that thing

650HP on a sub 2800lb car is fast - VERY FAST!

Re: Corvette SS lives.....link

You got it WW!

Courtesy of Mercedes Benz the blower is part of the intake nestles where the knock sensors usually go. You can see the TB and tubing making the twist over the radiator. The IC sits on top(nice for ice down at the track) with integrated intake runners funneling back to each head. Nice wide belt assure no slippage.

Re: Corvette SS lives.....link

Great for icing down - not as effecient as a FMIC.
