i.e. kars/bmr | Any lateral load other than going straight while trying to spin the wheels will not cause the wheels to hop. My '05 GTO was the same...straight line...hop city. Turn the wheel while spinning and it is gone. GM puts really soft lateral link bushings for NVH ride quality. My '05 V had allot of lateral movement at 145 MPH back stretch at VIR. It was almost scary at first until I got used to it and knew nothing was wrong. I was on Dunlop Sport race tires that are not made any more.
I think the differential bushing are result of the problem.
