^^ lol me too...thats the first burnout I've done with this car....I just happened to be in the area having diner with some friends, well the two long islands provoked me a little, but oh well, next morning looking at the vids...it was fun |

Turn the wheel while spinning and it is gone. GM puts really soft lateral link bushings for NVH ride quality. My '05 V had allot of lateral movement at 145 MPH back stretch at VIR. It was almost scary at first until I got used to it and knew nothing was wrong. I was on Dunlop Sport race tires that are not made any more.
I think the differential bushing are result of the problem.

You should change the title of this thread. Not trying to knock your statement/video but try doin a straight line burnout and i bet you'll hop like a bi*ch and not be able to do it. I think we all now how to get the tires goin by kickin it sideways first. Good Video though. Well done! |

obviously if the tires are hot enough....and if you start with some backward motion (as you did when u did a 306 into a burnout) the backend stays down a lot better....Its hard to try and do that from a stand still..... |
