We just completed our 2006 LS2 CTS-V dyno tune. It took us so long to bring you these numbers because we were so busy tuning other cars which means our car had to take a back seat until everyone else's car was done. Our tuner, Doug worked on our CTS-V today and got some great numbers for a basically stock car.
Our 2006 CTS-V has about 5,300 miles on the odometer and the only mods it has is an LPE intake and Borla cat-back exhaust system.
All I can say is the car is so much smoother and the power delivery is there on demand without any lag. The CAGS was removed and so was the top speed limiter. The car is now a joy to drive. It was very rough in stock form, but we would have never known until we had it tuned. I am sure the gas mileage will be much better now over the stock factory calibration.
If anyone is local to us and wants to drive our CTS-V so you can see how much a dyno tune can benefit you, let us know!
The car ran very rich during the first dyno run and once we completed it, the car ran exactly how it should have from the factory.
I tried uploading the dyno sheet, but the file size is too big so here are the before and after numbers:
BEFORE:
344.88 RWHP/346.56RWTQ
AFTER:
361.99RWHP/357.20RWTQ
If you have any questions, let us know.
Thanks!
Shawn

Is there baseline pulls before cai and exhaust?I ask because i've seen some bone stock sheets for ls2's.Numbers appear to be just a little higher than the ls6's.Kinda lets me guess if your dyno is on the stingy side or not. |

The before number that we reported was bone stock WITHOUT ANY MODS. Our car dynoed a bit higher than some of the other CTS-Vs we have dyno tested so far. I guess we broke it in properly. Our dyno is dead on the money at the wheels. We dyno test a lot of cars so we would know if it was off or not.

Do you have AFR numbers before and after?
Email me the dyno sheets and I’ll post them if you would like. gcaymandiver@hotmail.com |

Shawn | I must have been editing my post to add the offer to post your data as you were responding.
Anyway, I can post your data from my server regardless of size.

Shawn,
My email address is in post #6 above.
I have a couple of succulent Buffalo Rib eyes about to come off the grill so I’ll need a half hour or so before I get your data uploaded.

You've got mail! Thanks in advance again!
Oniix21,
Our normal tune fee is: $650.00 and for as much time as our tuner spends on each car, it is well worth every penny. Once you get it done, you will see. Trust me!
If you want to set-up a GP for our dyno tuning, the price will be lower as long as we can at least 5-10 cars at the same time to tune.

Exactly as you sent it to me.
I would be interested to see the Y-axis of your AFR graph expanded a bit.
