CTSV LS3 Belt drive assembly question

Hi to All. Been a long time board member, bought the a CTSV back in 04. But it's been a few years since I sold it. Currently I'm building a 52 Chevy Pickup with a new Fatman Chassis and the LS3 Cruise and connect package. Now it's the time I need to choose the correct belt drive assembly. I understand the Corvette drive belt assembly has the A/C compressor down low and I've been advised against using it since it may interfere with my frame rails. Which brings me to why I'm here. Need to know where the A/C compressor sits on the LS3 CTSV. If the compressor sits down low like the vette, I know I can't use it. But if it sits up high or on the middle, I should be fine. Been looking in the net for pictures but no luck. So I remembered my old board and thought I should ask you guys.

    Thanks to all who answer.

    What LS3 CTS-V?

On the LS6 and LS2 CTS-Vs, the A/C compressor mounts low on the passenger side. http://www.caddyinfo.com/05%205.7L%2...V-LF%20LoR.jpg

Re: CTSV LS3 Belt drive assembly question

All the ls3 CTS v that we built for the 2004-2007 ctsV vehicles had the ac unit on the bottom left passenger side. Just like the stock location. And also just as it is for the 2009 up ctsv. So you will not be wanting to use that setup for your project.
