Creative Steel: Lower Front Control Arms

I hope that this isn't a dumb question.

What would your interest level be for a lower front control arm much like the one in the picture for the CTS/CTS-V and what features would the new arms need to have. The stock arms are pretty heavy (12.5 lbs.), and we've got some 1.25" 4130 tubing that's looking for a project.

    Idea's???

I'd be in! Any weight loss is always awesome. And currently the only help is rev shift bushings which need to be greased too often and make noise.

Also, any headway on rear toe rods with spherical bushings?

I'm interested. The lighter and more solid, the better. No need for soft mounts here--if you felt they were necessary, I'd recommend a minimum of 95A (based on feeling no additional vibration with full 95A Revshift control arm bushings--upper and lower). Keep in mind that the OEM control arms have holes to permit the use of Kent-Moore alignment tools--you'll almost certainly want to include similar features.

When might you have estimates on cost and weight?

I would definitely order a set of these!

Just ordered the CS trailing arms last night...to go with CS 8.8 kit on my car....and the CS trans mount...

OMG, I think I might be an addict

Don't have a price and weight at this time. This was merely a fishing trip. I will do some research and when I have more info. I will pass it along. Give me some time though.

A Group Buy will be happening on this project.

Right now I need to get our control arm bushings done (grease-able in the car), the toe-rod material will be here tomorrow for the production run, just ordered 20 more spherical bearings for another batch of wide wheel trailing arms.

Definitely interested (price dependent obviously) but it would be nice to see more serious suspension parts like this.
