That sounds little like my issue and doesn't seem that the clutch is disengaging all the way cause when on flat level ground with pedal all the way going into first the car will start to roll little or pull. When in gear letting out it is grabbing instant. I hadn't noticed any chatter really. Of course reverse is almost impossible that's little to do with the sloppy shifter. Still trying to figure out all needed parts for that to be fixed up.

Never did reach a complete solution. Installed a new master cylinder and Revshift trans mount insert, and Monster ended up fabricating a custom shim but it still drags ever so slightly and is still difficult to get into 1st and reverse. At one point we even sent the whole clutch back to Monster so they could take measurements and make sure everything was true. Finally I got tired of the rising bill from taking the clutch in and out so many times and resigned myself to living with it. If this clutch wears out while I still have the car I'll probably switch to an LS7 setup.
