What high flow cat do I use with my Pacesetters???

I have Pacesetter headers I will be installing soon to my Magna flow cat back system on my 04V.. Anybody have a recommendation/ link for which high flow cat to go with? My Magnaflow is 2.5' and the Pacesetters came with a 2.5' reducer piece so I know the cats need to be 2.5' inlet/outlet size but that's about it. I also know cutting/welding will be involved and I am OK with that.

I am looking at getting some magnaflow high flows put into the mid pipe that way you can still run your O2s behind. I am looking at doing that now just to move them further downstream and help delay the cost of the headers at the same time. Also once I get there the headers are just plug in and go! Let us know how you like them and how easy they go in. Did you get the coated ones?

I just bought used ones that were painted black. Seem to be in good shape. What Magnaflow cat are you going to buy eventually?

The ones I was looking at on eBay are just 2.5 inch in and out with the overall 4 inch wide pipe and 8 inch long. Cut right into the mid pipe and then weld in a bung for O2 sensor. I was going to get the metallic substrate ones as they last longer. I think they are 200 cel count.

yes those are the ones that I thought about putting into the midpipe. Had a local shop quote me a price on it and really want to do it that way. It wouldn't be to bad cost for you since you will be taking out the manifold and stuff and I was going to have to have them weld in a pipe where the factory cats were and that was going to be about 150 bucks of the cost for the whole thing. If you are just having them put the cat in the pipe downstream it shouldn't be to bad.
