    Re: Maggie install started

    So, list of items missing:

    Bolts for belt tensioner.
    1/4" hose connector.
Block of foam for the intake (see instructions).
    Bolts for the vent tube.
Velcro for the fuel pump booster.
    K&N filter?
    New crossbrace?

    Suggestions for Magnuson:
    1) Add to the instructions in the few vague areas (B/C - I'll send details soon).
    2) Address alignment issue with the heat exchanger mounts.
    3) Include wire harness extensions (preterminated plug in style if possible) instead of wire, crimps, and loom.
    4) Make sure missing parts are addressed.
    5) Better picture(s) in instructions as to wire harness and hose routing (including the crossover fuel hose on the supercharger).
    6) Include new cross brace.
    7) Include K&N filter.
    8) Let me have another one and a Silverado SS for free so I can start buying rear tires in bulk and trasporting them more easily

Great kit - worth the $bones$ in my book.

    Good job Magnuson.

Ya, good job wildwhl! This ought to give anyone contemplating a Maggie installation a good overview on what is involved. Hope warm days and dry roads are looming in your near future.

Thanks for the well written evaluation.
All I want is a cert for the 2005 and I will find myself reaching for my checkbook.

    Re: Maggie install started

A little follow up. The Maggie has been on for basically less than two weeks now, and I'll never go back.

My wife drove the V (she normally drives a Nissan Murano) for the first time in about 3 months.

And I quote, "Crap, I forgot how friggin' fast that car is. I see what you mean about the rear getting loose in cold weather No wonder you love it!"

Little does she know that it is just that much faster now

That is too funny. She does not know about your "little modification" does she?

Go to More Performance. Only $900 for install and dyno. Plenty to do in Charlotte, NC while your car is being modified. I'd have Enterprise meet you there with your convertible Corvette rental.
